English literature on Dutch country houses

Unfortunately not many research on the history of Dutch country houses as a phenomena has been published in foreign languages. sKBL made this short inventory. Some are books (or chapters in books), some are articles in magazines.

Heimerick Tromp Private Country Houses in the Netherlands Waanders Publishers 1997. Well written book on aprox. one hundred privately owned country houses in the Netherlands
Vanessa Bezemer- Sellers Courtly gardens in Holland 1600-1650 Architectura et Natura 2001. This interesting book deals primarily on gardens in the first half of the 17th century of which hardly anything remained.
John Dixon Hunt The Dutch Garden in the Seventeenth Century Dumbarton Oaks 1980.
